Construction & Painting Process
The painting process of the false proscenium! The pannels were filled with intricate line work and patterns resembling Greek colums.

Painting the Isle of Lesbos required many layers of various colors to emphasize the differing highest of the mountains, as well as match the color palette of the show.
Pictured are the stalagmites used in "Heaven is a Place on Earth". Through using UV paint, each cave formation and costume was designed to glow under florescent light.
This is the view from under the upstage platform. It was reenforced to ensure the safety of all actors and technicians. Each frame was brought in, anchored to the stage, supports were inserted, then it was decked and painted.
